How to decipher your dreams?

These websites outline the symbolic meanings of different objects, people, or events and propose what each might represent. Such resources can help you recall threads from our shared history, such as how our ancestors understood concepts like “heaven” or a “chair”.

If you search online for the meaning of dreams, you will find many websites with a variety of explanations.

These websites outline the symbolic meanings of different objects, people, or events and propose what each might represent. Such resources can help you recall threads from our shared history, such as how our ancestors understood concepts like “heaven” or a “chair”.
One common example is:

"Bagel":

"If you see or eat a bagel in your dream, it suggests that a key element is missing in your life. You are not complete. Alternatively, it may refer to sexual needs."

It makes perfect sense…

Consider that when we dream, our awareness connects with what we call the astral dimension. If our energy were fully attuned to that plane of existence, it would appear just as physical and real as it does here. As a result, many different forms of consciousness can interact with us without our knowing.

We naturally seek information outside ourselves, yet we are often reminded that everything we need lies within.

the kingdom of heaven is within us

There are countless ways of representation in our collective consciousness, which are linked to objects that then translate into our dreams. The classic dream of arriving at school without your trousers represents shame, yet what truly matters is the source of that shame.
That is why no website that explains dreams can genuinely interpret anyone’s dreams. Consciously and unconsciously, we decide what each symbol represents for us. Full access to our subconscious is not easy, yet with dedicated practice it is possible to reach remarkable results very quickly.

A reliable way to decipher what a particular object or event means is to return to the very moment in the dream when you encountered it. Focus on the feeling it created within you.

Follow that feeling. Keep reflecting on it and see whether you can connect other memories that carry the same tone. It may appear as a flash of an image or a scene before your inner eye. It might seem abstract or unrelated, yet it surfaced for a reason that only you can know, and there is no website or other person who can make that connection for you.

Many dreams are also quite literal. If you watched a horror film or created reasons in your life to feel afraid, those impressions can certainly show up in your dreams.

Running from something can symbolize many things, yet the first step in the process of deciphering it is recognizing that such a dream arises from fear.

dreamingSit with that feeling and embrace it. The more we resist and struggle, the further we move away from it. If a thought arises, do not dismiss it, even if it seems to make little sense. Do not doubt the answers that appear.

One recurring theme in my dreams is a reluctance to enter an elevator, so I choose the stairs, until I realize I am on the 183rd floor and must take the elevator. Half the time the elevator breaks and drops, and it feels terribly real.
I have no difficulty riding elevators. They have never made me nervous unless people jumped while inside them.

This seems to surface as a subconscious fear, perhaps stemming from the few times I felt slightly unsafe in one.

The feeling that accompanies it can also translate into insecurity and a lack of control in my reality. It is all quite literal.

Another recurring theme in my dreams used to be starting university a few days late, with homework and stress piling up.

As soon as I shifted my life into working with Spirit Science, that university dream would end with the realization that I did not need to attend, and I would tell my friends to stop going and change the world.

Many of my dreams are socially oriented and involve interacting with people I studied with years ago. No matter the scenario, they all reflect my desire to communicate and to help shift perception.

Dreams are both extremely literal and deeply rooted in our emotional states. Taking the time to explore your inner world to uncover and retrieve the information is essential for understanding the kinds of dreams you experience.

In essence, the mysterious process of discovering what your dreams mean begins by sitting with the feeling they left within you. It is simple, yet the idea often becomes clouded by external suggestions about what a bagel is supposed to mean in your dream. Trust yourself. Only you know the answers.
