Heal Your Energy Through Breath

Heal Your Energy Through Breath

We can work with energy healing in many different ways. Most often, we use our hands. However, you can also work with your voice, your gaze, or your thoughts, and even with your breath.

The breath is an energetic bridge between the lighter vibrations of subtle energies and the denser vibration of matter. It is a powerful instrument for energy healing.

Several ways to use the breath

Beyond diaphragmatic breathing, there are several other ways to use the breath to sustain your own energy.

  • Whenever you find yourself worrying too much or caught up in a dramatic situation or problem, understand that it is simply a drop in energy, that is, vibration. Pause, settle, take a few deep breaths, and imagine that with each breath you raise energy through the body, upward to the head, or into any chakra.
  • When you feel unwell, tired, or drained, breathe while imagining that with every inhalation you draw pure light into your energetic body. With each breath, receive more energy and light, and see or feel your energy field expand and grow ever brighter. You can do this for yourself or direct it to someone else.
  • When a part of your body feels as if it has frozen, it often signals the emergence of an energy blockage. Use the breath like a pump to encourage the energy to flow again.
  • When you are under stress or working excessively, the third chakra may become blocked. When this chakra needs support, use deep, healing inhalations and exhalations to restore comfort and balance and to nourish it.
  • Use the breath to bring your energy back to center. With each inhalation, imagine gathering the fragments of your energy that have been scattered around you. With each exhalation, release what you do not need at that moment. Repeat until you begin to feel better and more complete.
