ENShea Butter (Mandingo, Karité)
A plant-based butter rich in stearic, oleic, and linoleic acids.
It contains a notably high unsaponifiable fraction up to 8 percent, comprising provitamin A, vitamin E, sterols, triterpene alcohols, and cinnamic acid esters known to offer UVB protection.
It shields the skin from environmental stressors and dehydration, restoring moisture and softness. Suitable for all skin types, especially dry and mature skin.
It may be used to care for sunburn, diaper rash, dermatitis, seborrhea, scars, fine lines, and stretch marks.
In the cosmetics industry it is most often featured in lip and hand care formulations. It offers a low level of natural UVB protection equivalent to approximately SPF 4 to 8.
