Calendula Extract

Calendula Extract

Calendula extract is often called the skin’s herb, as there is hardly a skin condition it cannot help. It is used topically or taken internally in the care of acne, warts, cysts, boils, eczema, psoriasis and seborrhea; hemorrhoids; shingles; fistulas; impetigo; skin inflammations; peeling skin; oily facial skin; mastitis; burns; rashes; various skin infections; hives; wounds, including purulent wounds and those that are slow to heal; insect bites and stings; and many other ailments.

Calendula macerate, obtained by infusing the flowers in a cold pressed, unrefined plant oil such as sesame, olive or macadamia, is an entirely natural skincare ally that protects and nourishes both young and mature skin. It softens, tones and hydrates, which is why it is a key ingredient in products for the care of the body and the hands.

Calendula therefore supports virtually every kind of skin concern, from blemishes and wounds to unhealthy skin states, and it is also used in addressing lymphatic ailments.
