Three ways to keep your vagina happy and healthy!

Lotus, Mandala, Yoni, the vagina, or whatever name you prefer, is something beautiful. A vagina that is healthy, happy, and fully functioning is a gateway that connects us with our divine essence. Like any precious gift, it deserves attentive care.

Most of us spend a lifetime with little idea how to keep it happy and healthy, which is why there are so many treatments that try to address infections, itching, and unpleasant odor. These remedies only chase symptoms. They do not solve the problem at its root.

These issues do not arise solely from the products we use or the probiotics we take, or fail to take. Here are three suggestions for sustaining your sexual wellbeing and vaginal health, to the benefit of you and your partner:

Exercise your vagina

Include not only your whole body in your fitness routine, but also your vagina. When you practice correctly, these exercises increase blood flow, circulation, tone, and strength. They also support muscular health throughout the body as well as in the vaginal tissues.

When used properly, practices with a Jade Egg and Ben Wa balls can deliver all of the above. They may heighten sensitivity and can make multiple orgasms more accessible. These exercises are also used to support sexual and reproductive concerns such as low libido, menstrual discomfort, ovarian cysts, and the aftereffects of sexual trauma.

Get aroused!

Frequent arousal is essential for a happy, healthy vagina. Our sexual organs were not created solely for reproduction. They also exist to provide pleasure. Sexual pleasure is HEALTHY and beneficial for every one of us, for our bodies, minds, and spirits.

Sexual pleasure boosts the immune system, improves cardiovascular health, and helps regulate mood through the release of hormones such as oxytocin, dopamine, and serotonin. Spiritually, sexual pleasure brings us into the present moment and into deep union with our divine nature, which at its core is BLISS.

Who would not wish for more of all this.

Have you heard the saying use it or lose it? What happens to a muscle you do not engage for a long time. Over time it weakens and atrophies.

According to Taoist sexual practices, something similar can happen with our sexual organs. Uncultivated sexual energy not only goes dormant. It can also stagnate and may lead to physical and emotional imbalance. Gentle, regular arousal works much like exercise. It not only supports the physical health of genital muscles and tissues. It also helps clear energetic blockages and activates creativity, passion for life, and POTENCY.

Restore balance

It is hard to overstate the importance of a healthy vaginal pH. As we were growing up, hardly anyone spoke to us about this. Lacking guidance, many of us reached for all sorts of products that were not particularly supportive of vaginal health.

Vaginal pH can be affected by a range of factors. Some are internal, such as excessive alcohol intake, antibiotics, and processed foods. Others are external, such as semen, antibacterial soaps, bubble baths, and lubricants. Any of these can shift the balance.

This is why it is essential to choose products that not only cleanse the vaginal area gently, but also restore and maintain optimal balance at the same time.

The body has an innate capacity to heal itself, yet we need to support it in order to maintain balance inside and out.

Set aside time for exercise, for pleasure, and for practices that balance the health of your Yoni. This not only supports physical wellbeing. You will also feel more deeply connected with your most intimate place.
